This is a speech given by Peter Economides at the Hellenic Management Association (EEDE) on November 11, 2011.Peter Economides is a brand strategist with a global perspective.He began his speech based on the difference between brand and branding.That brand management is the process by which an emergent brand image is influenced – not controlled, and the role of public, private enterprises in this.After that he told about the emergence of the brand image.Community conversations, community interactions and a social web of people would made a new brand.The third, the importance of brand community.A community that sets and inspires the brands meaning and in this can also harm the brand image.Lastly, mr Economides focused on how everything communicates.As everything communicates, and social/search technologies give greater emphasis to the communities of conversations, with this comes new mindsets and digital social literacies.
